LOL TOLHURST: THE SONGS OF THE CURE
The Cure co-founder, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and acclaimed author Lol Tolhurst, has announced an epic headline show at Quarters Brighton on Wednesday 28th October.
As one of the goth genre’s most prodigious sons, Tolhurst’s influence on the post-punk landscape is foundational. Having co-founded The Cure in 1976, he was a key architect of the band's signature sound, contributing to the seminal albums Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds, Faith, Pornography & Disintegration.
Following a run of October dates with cult band Chameleons, this headline performance sees Tolhurst revisiting his extensive history through "The Songs of The Cure". The sensational live show will feature iconic tracks that shaped the sound of the post-punk goth era, while also introducing fans to new material. With support from special guest Evi Vine.
